BSIM Therapeutics attended the XVIIth International Symposium on Amyloidosis (ISA), one of the most relevant events in the field of amyloid diseases taking place every two years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this time ISA took place on-line between the 14th and the 18th of September, 2020. Importantly, the relevance of Central Nervous System (CNS) and ocular manifestations in hATTR has been highlighted in several oral and poster presentations, as well as debated by some of the most eminent experts in field of ATTR. It was a great opportunity to present BSIM´s work on the development of “A lead candidate for tackling central nervous system symptoms of transthyretin amyloidosis”. Congratulations to ISA for the well organized event. We will surely return in 2022!
